Hunters Chase is a neighborhood of approximately 800 single family homes in Northwest Austin. It is inside the Austin City Limits and is part of the Hunters Chase Property Owners Association (POA). Most of the homes were built between the mid 1980’s and 1990’s.

Hunters Chase Homes: Hunters Chase is made up of two sections. The original development includes approximately 700 homes built between 1983 and 2000 with homes of about 1600-3200 square feet. A second section named The Estates at Hunters Chase is a Drees Homes development built between 2000 and 2002. It is made up of approximately 100 homes ranging in size from 2800-4000 square feet. The Estates at Hunters Chase is both a member of the Hunters Chase POA as well as its own Estates at Hunters Chase POA.
Hunters Chase Schools: Hunters Chase is on the Southern edge of the Round Rock School District. Students attend Pond Springs Elementary with the exception of The Estates at Hunters Chase in the Live Oak Elementary boundary. Since The Estates at Hunters Chase is actually closer to Pond Springs, many families get permission from RRISD to have their children attend Pond Springs. The entire neighborhood is in the Deerpark Middle School and McNeil High School boundaries.
Hunters Chase Amenities: Hunters Chase has a beautifully maintained park and pool. Hunters Chase Park includes a playground with multi-aged playscapes, 2 tennis courts, soccer field and covered picnic table. Besides the community pool, the Hunters Chase Pool area includes a children’s pool with water features, a large covered picnic pavilion and sand volleyball court.
Hunters Chase Location: One of the greatest assets of Hunters Chase is its proximity to Major employers, roads, restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Situated between Parmer and 183, Anderson Mill and McNeil, major East/West and North/South access is easy.
The neighborhood is surrounded by some of the biggest office parks in the city with major employers like Apple, Oracle, Accenture, Flextronics, Charles Schwab, Paypal and State Farm employing thousands. Many residents enjoy 5-10 minute commutes to their jobs (even during rush hour on rainy days!)
Dozens of restaurants from casual to fine dining are nearby and Lakeline Mall, the Domain and Arboretum are only minutes away. Some of the Austin’s top entertainment options are just up the street including Main Event, iFLY and the Austin Aquarium.
